Dastaas — meaning a hand-operated mill — is the third café-bakery venture from the founders of Café Kariz and Deam, drawing on the primitive, organic forms of pottery found at Tepe Sialk.
Soft, fluid shapes echo dough itself, while illustrations of two figures facing each other recall the teamwork of a hand mill. The palette moves from Iranian turquoise to warm cream.
