Laico Center was inaugurated on the 47th anniversary of the Laico founding, marking a significant milestone in its development. This unique complex offers an ideal space for shopping, leisure, and experiencing special moments with family. Laico Center features diverse sections designed to meet all the needs of a family. One floor is dedicated to Laico home products, another to men’s, women’s, and children’s clothing, while another houses a fitness club and a beauty center for women. Additionally, a bookstore, cultural stores, jewelry shops, and a nuts and dried fruit section are present. Together with a restaurant offering a stunning seaside view, these elements make Laico Center one of the most distinctive complexes in northern Iran. Given Laico’s diverse product range, we introduced the concept of “Zone” in its redesign to effectively showcase these products to customers. The visual identity of Laico Center is also based on the “Zone” concept, which had previously been incorporated into Laico’s branding. Each floor has its own dedicated space with a unique identity. This six-story complex maintains overall unity while offering distinct visual designs for each zone to enhance the shopping experience. Its architecture is inspired by the rice fields of northern Iran and the softness of fabric, creating a fluid and interwoven form. The building’s façade features metal strips, designed using CNC technology, that shape the first letter of Mr. Zeini’s last name (Laico’s founder). Additionally, the Laico Center logo was inspired by the building’s front elevation to create a seamless connection between architecture and visual identity. The colors used in the visual identity of this complex are derived from shades of blue to red, reflecting the hues of the sunset over the sea. The environmental graphics feature soft, flowing lines that evoke ocean waves, fabric textures, and the motion of rice fields. These elements rekindle a sense of familiarity and connection for those who have cherished memories with the Laico. With its new zone-based structure, Laico Center offers a fresh experience in a modern and distinctive setting, where each zone tells its own unique story. The slogan of Laico Center, “Laico Zone, Delightful Zone”, emphasizes both the concept of zones and the enjoyable experience of being in this exceptional complex.
