‘Deyseyfoo’ is a family business. For many years, its founders sent southern products, particularly dates, to their relatives, friends, and acquaintances in other cities. However, the lack of a capable brand with high quality packaging to deliver them to more customers was evident. As a result, this is how Deyseyfoo was created. This brand is named after a brave woman by the same name. She had a prominent role in dredging the Jabri Firth in the south of Iran in 1964.
Studio Nim designed Deyseyfoo’s visual identity and product packaging in 2021. We considered the main elements of Bushehr, a city in the south of Iran, for designing its identity. Regarding the atmosphere, the typography is inspired by Arabic and Kufic lines. The fundamental element is a woman for some reasons: the brand owner is a woman; the brand name is taken from a woman who lived in Bushehr; the massive volume of their products is produced by women who work in Tangestan’s date palm groves. Therefore, we use curved and smooth lines without any breaks. These lines imply curvy women’s hair, smooth sea waves, and a gentle movement of the brand toward growth. The colors are warm, making the customers feel like they are in southern lands.
